Project Management: Methodologies for project formulation and execution

Improving human conditions and organizational coherence is the purpose of project management. The process of planning, executing, and monitoring actions that enrich social, technical, economic, and environmental aspects allows the proposed objectives to be achieved. Following this path is crucial for the viability and sustainability of the results.

Having experience in project management, or relying on someone who does, ensures that the necessary resources can be obtained and invested with the greatest precision to achieve the objectives.

This practical course strengthens skills in project planning and financing, including the following topics, with a focus on logical framework, PMI (Project Management Institute), and theory of change:

  1. Introductory concepts on project structuring.
  2. Context of the intervention.
  3. Stakeholder analysis.
  4. Situation analysis.
  5. Formulation of the logical framework matrix (Scope, Indicators, and Assumptions).
  6. Operational and budget plan.
  7. Project file.
  8. Mapping and relationship with donors.

It can be deeper into time, costs, and value-earned methods for monitoring; Adjusted General Methodology (AGM) for investment projects, theory of change, and agility.

Depending on the topics needed and time available, can be done in-person, virtual, or hybrid formats, and decide on the length of the training.

Because there are multiple human and circumstantial factors in every situation, obstacles, problems, and conflicts are inevitable. This requires adequate preparation to help the involved parties reach agreements and find solutions. This implies a systemic approach focused on problem analysis, the design of alternatives, and individual care for constructive personal treatment.

This course is offered to groups of up to 20 people with one or two trainers in a hybrid model: face-to-face and virtual. It lasts 16 hours face-to-face and 4 hours virtual.

It is structured around process management models that draw on both contextual elements and the skills and experience of each participant. The main outcome of the training is to equip participants, as agents of change, with concepts and techniques that strengthen their ability to foster cohesion, coordination, and cooperation among multiple actors.

Basic course content

  1. Getting to know the group.
  2. Basic concepts.
  3. Assertive and visual communication.
  4. Leadership and relationships.
  5. The process and practice: moments from a workshop.
  6. Crisis management.
  7. Virtual bonus: the complexities of moving from face-to-face to virtual learning.

In the current context, where it is difficult to know what to prioritize, it is common for young people to find planning their lives a mystery. Because of this, the way in which they approach exploring answers and paths to build their own project becomes relevant.

By reaching out to young people, parents, professionals, and educators, we identified priority areas for working on professional and life purpose:

  • The relationship with self-awareness processes.
  • The perception of the current context.
  • Dominant social values.
  • Communication skills.
  • The impact of communication technologies on everyday life.

This support focuses on young people in the process of transitioning from one level of education to another. The objective is to strengthen their abilities to build their professional and occupational plans through:

  1. Increasing organizational skills and prioritization of variables involved in the decision-making process.
  2. Promoting a critical view of the dominant values in society regarding education and work and their effect on young people.
  3. Strengthening the ability to receive, develop, and express ideas and emotions.

The process lasts six sessions in virtual, face-to-face, or hybrid mode, depending on the conditions.

In today’s world, change comes whether you are looking for it or not. It is normal to feel disoriented and also to feel that there is potential that has not been explored. In this context, changes throughout one’s life involve risks and force us to make conscious decisions in which we feel that our whole being is involved.

With the right support and a systemic approach, you can redesign your personal project.

Our proposal focuses on groups of people in mid-career and those approaching retirement. The goal is to provide tools for self-discovery and for building a path to renewal through:

  1. Strengthen self-care and self-awareness.
  2. Increase autonomy, agency, and sustainability criteria.
  3. Respond consciously and adaptively to emerging challenges.
  4. Refine leadership toward achieving results and strengthening relationships.
  5. Enhance organizational skills and prioritization of variables involved in the decision-making process.

The process lasts six sessions in virtual, face-to-face, or hybrid mode, depending on conditions.

Sometimes the demands of life leave us feeling behind and unable to catch up with ourselves. We can learn to get back on track through effective emotional self-management and mental organization strategies.

This training is aimed at work teams in companies, academia, and organizations that face high pressure, organizational changes, or seek to improve their emotional and mental well-being. It aims to achieve results in the following areas:

  • Self-awareness about one’s each way of learning and managing stress.
  • Reduction of task-related anxiety symptoms.
  • Increased focus, resilience, and emotional self-regulation.
  • Strengthening of emotional intelligence in the workplace.
  • Improvement in the work environment and interpersonal communication.

Depending on the topics needed and time availability, in-person, virtual, or hybrid formats can be arranged, as well as the duration of the training.
